Basilica Tattoo was born in 2016 out of a shared dream to redefine the tattoo experience in Las Vegas. Co-founded by two visionary artists—Hiram Casas and Vic Vivid—the studio quickly ascended to the pinnacle of the local scene, earning acclaim as one of the valley's finest.

Hiram Casas & Vic Vivid
Hiram Casas: The Hyper-Realist Dreamweaver
Hiram Casas isn't just a tattoo artist—he's a storyteller who bridges worlds. Born on October 14, 1989, in the colorful streets of Havana, Cuba, Hiram's journey to the needle was paved with raw talent and unyielding curiosity. He honed his craft at the prestigious San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts, where he delved into graphic design and fine arts. Self-taught through YouTube tutorials and episodes of Miami Ink, Hiram practiced on friends and family, starting with simple designs on his little sister.
"It was an outlaw feeling," he recalls, a mix of excitement and edge that fueled his early days. By his early 20s, he'd mastered the machine, blending hyper-realism with surrealist elements. Immigrating to the U.S. marked Hiram's American Dream in full color. In 2016, he co-founded Basilica with Vic Vivid. His big break came on Paramount Network's Ink Master: Turf War (Season 9) and later Season 14 in 2022. Today, Hiram's portfolio is a gallery of the extraordinary.
Vic Vivid: The Maestro of Vivid Surrealism
If Hiram paints with shadows and dreams, Vic Vivid ignites the canvas with explosive color. A Colombian-born force of nature, Vic's path to tattooing was a vibrant detour through the arts. Growing up immersed in painting, graphic design, and industrial creation, he discovered the needle in 2009 while in Miami—a serendipitous spark that turned his lifelong artistic hunger into a full-time blaze.
"When I found tattooing, it was like everything clicked," Vic reflects. Now a Las Vegas staple, his work is synonymous with bold surrealism: intricate birds in flight, floral explosions teeming with life, and animal portraits that leap off the skin in hyper-saturated hues. Vic's self-proclaimed "student of the game" ethos shines in his meticulous process.
